As the date draws near for our magical escapade into the woods, we want to equip you with all the essential details to make your stay memorable.
π Our Vision for the Weekend:
At Love, Oregon, we celebrate the beauty of our state, the camaraderie of its people, and the nourishing power of nature. Every moment here is about unity, discovery, and rejuvenation. As this is our inaugural year, we seek your patience and understanding.
π Arriving & Parking:
Location: Camp Colton, 30000 S. Camp Colton Drive, Colton, OR 97017.
Drive to the main entrance, where our team will guide you to the check-in area. Once parked, it's a short walk to collect your special Love, Oregon gift, and campsite directions. Here's a handy map for reference.
Tent Campers: Once checked in, gather your camping gear; we'll guide you next.
RV/Car Campers: Post check-in, you'll be directed to the RV/Car Camp area.
π΄ Eating & Drinking:
A gastronomic journey awaits as we unite over meals served family-style. Start mornings with coffee from Nossa Familia, Water Avenue Coffee, and Exilior.
Brunch: 10:00 AM
Dinners: 6:00 PM
Water stations are always accessible, while beer and wine can be purchased during specified hours. Also, our wood-fired Oregon pizza on Saturday afternoon is a standard Love, Oregon fundraiser.
π Festival Timing:
Friday & Saturday: Gates swing open at 1 p.m. and close by 10 p.m.
Sunday: Bidding adieu by 3 p.m.
π» Amenities:
Plentiful clean bathrooms, including ADA-compliant ones, are ready. If you wish to shower, our volunteers will guide you.
Packing Lists:
Your adventure calls for some essentials. Here's a guide to make your experience comfortable and memorable:
Tent (Don't forget this!)
Sleeping bag (and a comfy pillow)
Sleeping pad (For that extra layer of comfort)
A cozy coat for the evenings
Sturdy trail and walking shoes
Water bottle (Stay hydrated; we've got you covered)
Your favorite coffee cup and unbreakable wine or beer glass (we will sell cups at the Festival that support future Love, Oregon Projects β also, try Okapi! [More on that below])
Essential toiletries (Yes, even that toothbrush)
Sunscreen and bug repellent (Nature's got its little ones too)
Flashlight or headlamp
ID (For guest verification)
Monetary essentials: Cash or Card for bar purchases and those delicious wood-fired pizza lunches
Your favorite camp chair
Washcloth and towels
A blanket (Perfect for sitting, yoga, or stargazing)
Snacks (No coolers allowed, but feel free to pack light munchies)
Cell phone charger (We've got outlets, but perhaps consider a digital detox?)
Sustainable art supplies (For those creative moments)
Book or journal (Reflect, relax, and savor the moments)
Musical instruments and your soulful voice for those campfire jams!
Yoga mat (and any other yoga stuffs you use) if you plan to join us for morning yoga
