Love, Oregon Festival Waiver of Liability

RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS BY PURCHASING A TICKET TO LOVE, OREGON FESTIVAL (HEREIN AFTER REFERRED TO AS “THE RELEASEES”), I, (HEREIN AFTER REFERRED TO AS “THE PARTICIPANT”) UNDERSTAND THAT I AM WAIVING CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE. Love, Oregon Festival is a music, food, and nature festival held July 15-17, 2022, held at Camp Colton in Colton, Oregon, and is organized by its members, directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and independent contractors. In consideration of the Love, Oregon Festival Organizers permitting the Participant’s attendance at Love, Oregon Festival, the Participant waives any and all claims that the Participant has or may in the future have against, and release from all liability and agree not to sue, Love, Oregon Festival Organizers and associated property ("Premises"), as well as other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, or advertisers for any claims of personal injury, death, property damage or other loss that the Participant sustains during or as a result of Love, Oregon Festival due to any cause whatsoever. The Participant is aware that participating/volunteering in Love, Oregon Festival has many inherent risks.

I recognize and acknowledge that there are hazards and risks of physical injury or illness to Love, Oregon Festival attendees and that not all such hazards or risks can be fully eliminated. I freely and voluntarily agree to assume the full risk of death, bodily injury, or property damage, regardless of severity, that I (or my child/ward) may sustain as a result of my attendance at the Love, Oregon Festival, whether or not caused by the negligence or gross negligence of the Releasees.

I indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any loss, liability, damage, or cost they may incur while I am at the Love, Oregon Festival or on the Premises, whether or not caused by the negligence or gross negligence of the Releasees.

I release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the Releasees from all liability to me, my personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin, for any claims, causes of action, obligations, lawsuits, charges, complaints, controversies, damages, costs or expenses of whatsoever kind, nature, or description, whether direct or indirect, in law or in equity, in contract or in tort, or otherwise, whether known or unknown, arising out of or connected with my (or my child’s/ward's) attendance at the Love, Oregon Festival or while on the Premises, whether or not caused by the negligence or gross negligence of the Releasees.

Supplemental Informed Consent, Waiver and Release of Claims for the Love, Oregon Festival In Person Event

Thank you for your participation in Love, Oregon Festival 2021. Be assured that we will be following and enforcing state and federal laws and guidelines as it pertains to COVID-19, sanitation, disinfecting, hand washing, mask-wearing, social distancing, and overall health.

As with the transmission of any communicable disease, you may be exposed to COVID-19 at any time and any place. Despite our best efforts and the measures we have taken to reduce the risk of exposure, there is still a chance you could be exposed to COVID-19 at our event or during your travels to and from.

When you purchase your ticket and/or attend Love, Oregon Festival you acknowledge that, while low, there is a chance of exposure during the event. You hereby release Love, Oregon Festival Organizers and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, members, agents, contractors, representatives, sponsors, volunteers, successors, and assigns from any and all claims, demands, damages, rights of action, or causes of action, arising out of your participation in any activity at this Festival as it relates to COVID-19 and any other communicable disease.
